STC Orlando Central Florida Chapter - End of the Year Celebration and Service Award Presentation - June 20, 2013 6:30pm

The Society for Technical Communication (stc.org), is a professional organization that “advances the theory and practice of technical communication across all user abilities and media so that both businesses and customers benefit from safe, appropriate, and effective use of products, information, and services.”

Here in Central Florida, we provide programs of interest and value to local practitioners—experienced and novice—to promote best practices, facilitate networking, and provide educational resources within our group and in the wider worlds of business and education. Our close ties to the University of Central Florida have nourished student-to-professional transitions and enabled our members and visitors to benefit from knowledge in both the theory and practice arenas.

Orlando Central Florida STC Chapter meets most months on the third Thursday. Our schedules are posted elsewhere on this site, and the current month’s offering is highlighted on this page. We urge you to give us a try—first meeting is free—and see whether membership is for you.  We welcome all visitors.
